This banjo has a cherry neck, and a steam-bent 12-inch cherry rim.

Its 12-inch pot has a rolled brass tone ring.

	The ebony fingerboard has a scoop above the 17th fret, but extended above the 16th fret on the 5th string, and has gold pearl side position markers.			The metal bits are non-plated brass. Note the "butterfly" bracket shoes.
	The peghead is Brooks's "Clown" shape, and has an inlaid Indian Head penny.			All tuners are geared; the long strings are tuned with 5-Star brand planetary gears, while the 5th string has a 5-Star brand worm and pinion tuner.
	It's set up with a Renaissance head and a Brooks tailpiece and bridge.			The 1-piece neck is cherry, with a double-acting truss rod.
	The 12-inch rim is cherry, with a 1/4-inch, rolled brass tone ring and an ebony rim cap.			The 12-inch 1/4-inch, rolled brass tone ring provides for a smooth, mellow tone.
