In addition to the large pot, this one is flamed maple (the usual Electric is mahogany), and this one has a very cool, two-legged dragon inlay!
The Electric tone ring was patented in 1890, and was used in another model 11 years later, the Whyte Laydie. While the tone ring remained the same, the WL used a bracket band and the Electric continued with its bracket shoe design.
With your choice of a TKL Professional (black or tweed) or Golden Gate Deluxe ("bump") hardshell case, and a free ZEPP Country Music gig bag, this one-off piece is only $1999. Sold.
Mike has been making a Fairbanks Electric model for some years now; occasionally, he makes a 12-inch version, such as this.
