He refers to this banjo as "The Hummingbird," owing to its MOP and abalone hummingbird inlays.
It is a cherry instrument having a 12-inch Whyte Laydie-style pot, i.e., an Electric tone ring and a bracket band.
This is serial number 002, though Roy has not marked the instrument at this writing. He promises to do so if the buyer wishes (it will most likley be marked "1102," as the second one of 2011, but it also happens to be the second one he has build for general sale).
It comes with a hard shell case for $2250. Sold.
