Used Crafters of Tennessee TBC-W Walnut Classic

Used Crafters of Tennessee Walnut Classic Crafters of Tennessee makes some strikingly gorgeous banjos with killer tone.

This Walnut Classic is no exception, and is a beautifully made and great sounding banjo.

Its major flaw is a finish crack on the resonator, but this is cosmetic, and is in no way a structural problem.

That crack in this $5,849.00 list-price banjo makes it a bargain at only $2299 with hardshell case!

Used Crafters of Tennessee Walnut Classic peghead The double-cut headstock has handsome abalone and MOP inlay in its ebony overlayment. It has a small ding near the 2nd string tuner.          Used Crafters of Tennessee Walnut Classic tuners The tuners are 5-Star brand planetaries.
Used Crafters of Tennessee Walnut Classic head The banjo has a Remo Weatherking brand head and a Presto tailpiece. Beneath the head is a Tennessee 20® flathead copper flashed sand-cast tone ring.          Used Crafters of Tennessee Walnut Classic back This banjo is made of gorgeous walnut; the resonator has flamed walnut, unlike any I have seen before.
Used Crafters of Tennessee Walnut Classic fingerboard The bound, ebony fingerboard has a unique MOP inlay pattern with virtually no fret wear. It has spikes at frets 7, 9, and 10.
Used Crafters of Tennessee Walnut Classic neck The one-piece walnut neck is highly figured.
Used Crafters of Tennessee Walnut Classic resonator The walnut resonator has a few small dings, and has striking grain.
Used Crafters of Tennessee Walnut Classic heel The metal parts are nickel-plated and in very good condition.
Used Crafters of Tennessee Walnut Classic crack The amazingly gorgeous, flamed(!) walnut resonator has a crack that is either only in the finish, or, at worst, into the thin, outer veneer. Owing to the use of figured veneer, the crack is not structural and is merely a cosmetic blemish. It does, however, make this a bargain-priced banjo!
