Chuck's second banjo was a Glen Rose, making this the oldest model he has made continuously made since then. It is effectively his take on the old Fairbanks Electric design.

This particular instrument was sold new by us in 2005, and is a gorgeous piece in excellent condition.

	The peghead has a classic shape along with an angel-sounding-her-horn inlay in the ebony overlay.			The tuners are 5-Star brand planetaries.
	The 11-inch pot has an Electric-style tone ring (aka "Whyte Laydie") for a really great sound.			The scooped ebony finger board has a unique inlay pattern.
	The 11-inch pot has a Moon brand bridge, a No-Knot tailpiece, and a Renaissance head.			The lightly stained maple neck contrasts nicely with the black dyed pot.
	The predominantly maple neck is highly flamed.			The scoop in the fingerboard is Chuck's "W" scoop (which I call a "seagull" scoop).
