The banjo has a frosted head and Deering's proprietary tailpiece and bridge. The tone ring is Deering's '06 bell bronze flathead, the same one used in the most expensive of the "Deering Line" of Deering's banjos. The 3-ply maple rim is also used throughout Deering's tone ring banjos.
