This is a limited edition Goodtime banjo (the one in stock is no. 14) that has a number of features not found on the standard (or Special) Goodtime.

First off: it's obviously black. Beyond that, the peghead is the classic Deering shape, not the Goodtime Gumby. It has pearloid position markers, and planetary tuners. What is not as obvious is a new steel flathead tone ring and a 3-ply red maple rim (instead of the Goodtime's birch and maple multi laminated rim).

	The banjo is made of black-stained rock maple.			The black-stained fingerboard has pearloid position marker inlays.
	The peghead Deering's classic shape.			The tuners are planetaries, rather than the standard guitar-style tuners.
	The metal bits are all nickel-plated.			It is set up with a Deering branded Remo head, a Vega-style armrest, and the Goodtime proprietary tailpiece.
	The 3-ply maple rim has a steel, flat head tone ring.			Here's what the tone ring looks like outside the banjo (we just had to look).
