Deering Maple Sierra

Deering Maple Sierra Deering's Sierra has long been about the best buy in a professional grade, American-made banjo.

Until recently, it was only available in mahogany, but can now be had in either maple (shown here) or mahogany.

With its hardshell case, it lists at $2699 but please call us for selling price. Temporarily Out of Stock

Our Pick This is a ZEPP Country Music Pick: I feel that among American-made banjos, the Sierra offers the best professional-grade sound and playability for the buck; the savings comes from the absence of mud flaps and racoon tails. There's nothing fancy about this instrument--it just gets the job done, and done right!
