This is Video 4 in the series "Personalizing" your play, or "How to create your own style." If you have not yet watched the introduction to this series, please do so, as otherwise this will make no sense!
In the following clip. we are adding a pull-off from every fretted melody note. Note that our left hand fingering is the same on each as it was for our "basic melody," but now a half beat later, we pull off to the open string note--whatever it may be!
For best results, you should practice doing this quite literally by pulling off every fretted note, i.e., you want to teach your left hand to be able to pull off constantly, whether it sounds good or not! Once mastered, you will be able easily to leave out unwanted pull-offs.
